Testimony of one of our sponsored students
Dear AIDex. I am a born again Christian from a Muslim family by the name Omary Amani Sadara. Am a person once lived under the life of frustration, rejection, regrets & accompanied by conflict. One thing that has renewed my life is accepting Christ & acknowledging Him as my personal saviour and renovator of my entire life. Having lost my father at childhood age I ended up being mislead due to lack of a mentor. My father left me in polygamous family that caused me frustration and conflict that ended my two beloved brothers in graves due to family issues. This made me to live with my grandmother in Uganda. She taught me more of Christian virtues hence renewing my life under knew mentor that is Christ Jesus. At the tender age of 9, I was attending church services in a church. The reason was to acknowledge Jesus Christ. So this actually made me to accept the fact that God the creator of heaven and earth is the father of Christ Jesus. God sacrificed His own beloved son to die for you and me to be saved of eternal death and receive eternal life. This is incredible my beloved ones. My brothers having heard about my church attendance fetched me with no questions. I kept embracing Christian virtues. This embarrassed my brothers hence taking me to Arabian school for madrasa (Islamic religion study). For a full year I had no peace at all. Later brother Bashir died after a serious headache. His death left us with no say. He was the expected mover of our family having ambition of being a doctor. My poor sister Fatuma dropped out of school in form three. This was due to lack of funds for her support. Having Christian virtues I portrayed it with a great desire of serving God. We lived under the guidance first Baptist Church. I joined Sigalama Boys in 2008. There I joined Christian union on the very first week. I started reading Bible even in front of the assembly. I felt so shy. So that is how I found myself serving the Lord. I was first supported by AIDex Australia while in form three. They presented me a bible . Inside the bible there was a message to me: “Omary seek first the kingdom of God” …Mr Russell. He taught us about the love of God and the motto of AIDex: ” to serve God and help others”. Definitely the work of AIDex is of great value. Basically it was and still is of great support to us Kenyan people. From my first encounter with AIDex I have seen them doing incredible things for orphans, widows and even churches. Let my sincere gratitude go to all AIDex sponsors. I know anybody who sees you around Africa actually smile. I pray that God grant you much worth then the good you are doing. May the peace, love, care and power of our living God that surpasses all power be with you through Jesus Christ our saviour. Omary Amani Sadara
Hello Russell, Greetings in Jesus’ name. As a fellowship we had very very nice moments as we were interacting with you. Thanks for your participation in this year’s July Conference in which you encouraged, supported & even touched the hearts of widows. Teachings were wonderful. The very deep theological teachings that left pastors and elders stronger ministry wise. This year’s conference was exceptional. We would like to thank you very much for enabling us to access this college. This institute is sound with very committed staff who teaches real Theology. What you are doing for the community around will be remembered even for generations to come. The medical camp had been planned well but due to nurses strike various challenges were realized. In general we were really blessed by the AIDex teams that visit us. Widows are preparing their farms & are waiting for the onset of rains to plant. Hi Russell, Greeting to you in the name of our Lord Jesus Christ, together with all those in the body of Christ in Australia, Thanks for your support & participation towards this year’s conference. You encouraged & even touched the hearts of pastors, their wives & leaders. The conference was good with wonderful teachings of God’s word. We also thank you for your gifts we received like bible commentaries & study bibles. We received the funds for the conference at the right time enabling us to move on with planning without financial problems. We appreciate & thank God for that. The pastors & their wives give testimonies of how they were richly blessed & wonderfully encouraged with teachings. We appreciate for the library which has been put in place. Praise be to the Lord, our best regards to you and all those under your ministry. We thank you and your group members for the blessing visit you made to our pastors fellowship in Busia-County. The church seminar you conducted here was a big success and we are seeing the fruits out of it. We witnessed the humble concern you showed to us, sharing in every activity with us freely. This is highly commendable and worthy emulating. Your sponsorship towards the seminar expenses for four days cannot go without mention. We pray that God blesses you abundantly so as to continue doing the same to many others. Teachings have pulled us to a certain height of understanding. The revelations in them were great and we like you shall love- “love others without condition as we minister.” The Bibles you donated to us are an important landmark in our Christian life. Whenever we open the first cover, we see AIDex in the Ref. Ps 139: 14-18. This strengthens our soul in love. On behalf of the entire Samia Bible College family & Samia Pastors’ Fellowship, do present my heartfelt appreciations for the love, concern & support we receive form our Australian brethren. The benefit of which is more than words can express. May the one who joined; our Heavenly loving & faithful Father, receive all the glory & reward you fully. This support has not only helped Pastors & ministers to study God’s word in our Bible College, but has triggered the unity of Pastors & all Bible Ministers in Samia community, bringing the body of Christ much more together compared to the past & we are currently enjoying interdenominational relationship among Pasters as a result of this. Today in accordance to your support, it is beyond doubt that Samia Bible College is gradually making a steady & permanent impact on the Church in Samia land & beyond, through Christian Leadership training. In 2014, 25 Pastors graduated. In 2016, 18 Pastors & 7 leaders graduated This year 2017, the number has gone to Mundika Campus 25 students, & Sio-Port, 21 students. We have also started other centres in Funyula & Port- Victoria, which are running very well by the grace of God. Once again, receive my hearty acknowledgement for your love & support. Below in picture is of Omary (Testimony above) & Jedidah Songwe who was supported by AIDex through her schooling & university studies. She comes back to help us with our medical camps each year as a clinical offer. It is so encouraging to see those we have sponsored getting employment & coming back to work with us to help others.
